BINH NGUYEN, Pharm.D.

Binh Nguyen received his Pharm.D at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy in 2023. He developed the passion for medicine during and after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology Biomanufacturing by researching and producing compounds and ingredients used in medicine. His involvement in VAPhA started when he worked at an independent compounding pharmacy and later on in the student organization VAPSS, at the University of Houston. Currently, Binh is a staff pharmacist at CVS Pharmacy serving as the last line defense for patients by educating them regardinging their medication, lifestyle, and any questions they may have. In the future, Binh wants to pursue other careers in the field of pharmacy that involve projects and research that positively impact underprivileged communities where he lives or in other countries.
