DUY NGUYEN, Pharm.D. Candidate

Duy is currently a P4 pharmacy student at the University of Houston, and his journey with VAPhA began during his P1 year when he participated in a health fair with Dr. Stephen Au. Since then, he's had numerous opportunities to collaborate with VAPhA pharmacists at various health fairs and events. Their dedication to community service and mentorship has been truly inspiring. Having the opportunity to join many events and health fairs hosted by VAPhA, he was able to enhance both his clinical knowledge and professional network.
VAPhA has played a pivotal role in his growth, both professionally and personally. As the UH student chair for VAPhA, he is committed to working closely with his university's organizations to raise awareness about VAPhA amongst students. By showcasing the abundant opportunities VAPhA offers for professional development and community engagement, he aims to encourage more students to get involved. With more students and pharmacists knowing about VAPhA, we can significantly expand VAPhA's impact and recognition within the pharmacy community.
