Thuy received her B.S. of Pharmacy at the University of Houston-the College of Pharmacy and her Post-Baccalaureate PharmD from Texas Southern University. Thereafter, she completed specialty training in critical care medicine at The Methodist Hospital, where she stayed on as a Clinical Specialist in the areas of Internal Medicine and Neuroscience for 15 years. She help to developed the Stroke service and continued to serve as the Neuroscience Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator for Baylor St. Luke’s Hospital for the next 10 years. Currently, she is one the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit, Stroke, Neurotrauma Clinical Specialists II at Memorial Hermann Hospital at TMC. Thuy is a member of ASHP, NCS and SCCM. She is committed to training pharmacy students and residents to become outstanding contributors and leaders for the profession of pharmacy.
